SUMMARY:

The ideal candidate will work with project teams and conduct quantitative and qualitative analysis to develop and execute sourcing strategies. Consultants work on multiple project teams simultaneously and should have excellent organizational skills. In this role you will manipulate datasets, create models, research products and suppliers, analyze market trends, and summarize findings in a succinct manner for our client's usage. There is significant interaction with clients and suppliers. Some travel is required.

RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Collect, review, and summarize spend data.
  • Develop benchmarks and should-cost analyses.
  • Commodity and market research
  • Identify potential suppliers and run RFQ process.
  • Create and analyze supplier profiles.
  • Assist with strategy development and implementation.
  • Facilitate negotiations and contract development.
  • Track and monitor cost data, market fluctuations, and supplier performance
  • Prepare presentation materials.
  • Work collaboratively with team members
  • Think strategically about improving company operations.
  • Develop and manage relationships with private equity partners.
  • Deliver compelling presentations to showcase the value of our products/service.
  • Utilize CRM tools to track progress and update customer information.

QUALIFICATIONS/EXPERIENCE:

  • Excellent leadership and communication skills
  • Ability to multitask, manage time effectively, and work independently.
  • Fluency in Microsoft Office suite (Outlook, Excel, Word, PowerPoint, etc.)

EDUCATION:

  • Bachelor's degree in business or related discipline
