Scope:
The Strategic Sourcing Manager oversee the Supplier Partnership & Panel management for the organization. This position is responsible for managing the contract administration, supplier partnerships as well as strategic projects including cost savings.
This is a strategic position requiring strong and exceptional negotiation skills, strategic thinking, and a proven track record of implementing successful sourcing strategies to optimize costs and drive efficiency across the supply chain.
Key Responsibilities:
Develop and Implement Sourcing Strategies: Lead the development and execution of comprehensive sourcing strategies aligned with business objectives. Identify, evaluate, and select suppliers that offer the best value proposition in terms of quality, cost, delivery, and innovation.Supplier Relationship Management: Cultivate and maintain strong relationships with key suppliers. Negotiate contracts, terms, and conditions to ensure favorable pricing, quality, and service levels. Monitor supplier performance and address any issues or concerns in a timely manner.Cost Optimization: Continuously analyze market trends, supplier capabilities, and cost drivers to identify opportunities for cost savings and value creation. Drive initiatives to reduce total cost of ownership while maintaining or improving product quality and service levels.Risk Management: Assess and mitigate risks associated with the supply chain, such as supply disruptions, geopolitical issues, and supplier financial stability. Develop contingency plans to minimize impact on operations and ensure business continuity.Cross-Functional Collaboration: Collaborate closely with internal stakeholders, including procurement, operations, finance, and product development teams, to understand business requirements and align sourcing strategies accordingly. Drive cross-functional initiatives to drive efficiency and innovation.
Required Education and Experience:
- Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Supply Chain Management, or a related field. Master's degree preferred.
- Minimum of 10 years of experience in strategic sourcing, procurement, or supply chain management, preferably in manufacturing and RTA industry.
- Proven track record of successfully managing supplier relationships and driving cost savings initiatives.
- Bilingual: French and English.
- Knowledge of the MS Office suite (Excel, Word, Outlook), Microsoft 365, ERP, Power BI

Position Type/Expected Hours of Work:
- Labor Category – Exempt
- Located in Megantic, Sherbrooke or Jamestown
- Expected schedule – 40 hours per week
- Ability to work hybrid from home and in office
- Compensation range for this position is $75,000 - $100,000 annually. Pay is based on a number of factors including market location and will vary based on job related knowledge, skills and experience

- Minimal, potential vendors visits, shows or internal facilities.
