Government Jobs - Full-Time - $31,200.00 Annually Street Department Laborer is an entry level position in the Street Department. Primary responsibility will be collecting garbage and loading garbage into the garbage truck. Other duties will include general street and sewer repair and maintenance, and plowing snow. The position presents the opportunity to obtain a CDL license. The duties of the position are assigned by the Street Department Supervisor and will include nights, weekends, and holidays as required. The Street Department is generally responsible for the Citys sewer system, stormwater collection system, city roads, and garbage collection.
