Street Maintenance Worker - City of Sterling : Job Details

The City of Sterling, Illinois Public Works Dpt. is seeking applicants to fill Street Maintenance Worker position.

Starting Salary $25.00 – $26.15 hourly.

Street Maintenance Workers are responsible for performing a wide variety of heavy manual, semi-skill and skilled tasks in the construction, installation, operation, repair and maintenance of the city's right-of-way and storm drain infrastructure. Full description of important and essential duties

Applicant must have a valid driver's license, a Class A CDL is preferred, but must able to acquire a Class A CDL with tanker endorsement; within 90 days of being employed.
