Snelling is currently seeking Structural Metal Fabricators and Fitters in the Iuka MS area and the Fulton MS area. Reading and understanding product schematics and assembly instructions. Taking part in product development meetings. Verifying dimensions and product specifications. Ensuring that all the required parts for assembly are present. Align and fit parts according to specifications, using jacks, turnbukles, wedges, drift pins, pry bars, and hammers. Read blueprints to determine materials needed and requirements and tasks needed Operate cutting and grinding equipment Must not be afraid of heights or bothered by confined spaces Basic math skills are needed Must be able to read a tape measure Ensuring that quality control standards are met. Maintaining a production schedule. Testing products for their functionality. Troubleshooting and stress testing products to minimize problems or recalls. Reporting and detailing product malfunctions.
