Throughout the United States, we fabricate and install the structural steel frame and other structural package components utilized in the construction of major commercial projects, including office buildings, warehouses, retail centers, hospitals, and more.Position OverviewWe are seeking a skilled Estimator to join our team. The Estimator will be responsible for accurately assessing the cost of projects and providing detailed estimates to clients. The successful candidate will work closely with our sales and project management teams to ensure the smooth delivery of commercial and industrial projects.Key Responsibilities
- Evaluate project plans, specifications, and requirements to accurately estimate materials, labor, and equipment costs.
- Collaborate with the sales team to prepare detailed and accurate bids and proposals.
- Work closely with project management to ensure projects are completed on time and within budget.
- Maintain project files and documentation, including change orders and purchase orders.
- Provide ongoing support and guidance to project teams throughout the project lifecycle.
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Construction Management or related field.
- Minimum of 3 years' experience in estimating for commercial or industrial construction projects.
- Strong knowledge of structural steel and steel construction.
- Proven ability to read and interpret project plans, specifications, and requirements.
- Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Strong attention to detail and the ability to work under pressure.
- Effective communication and interpersonal skills.
