Structural Welder- URGENTLY HIRINGPay: 18-23 based on weld testShift: 6AM-3:30PMJob DescriptionWill be welding large parts/frame of the railroad equipment for repair, removal, or re-finishing. MIG Weld - 3/8” structural weld, carbon steel material, Horizontal and Vertical up/down. GMAW and Carbon Arc welding. Some torch cutting and plasma cutting/grinding.Preferred SkillsMIG Weld - 3/8” structural weldDual shield/fluxcoreCarbon steel materialHorizontal and Vertical up/down weldsGMAWCarbon Arc weldingTorch cuttingPlasma cutting/grindingAbility to read blueprints (training available)Additional Skills & QualificationsCoachable and eager to learn.Willingness to help and pitch in where necessary.Managerial, lead, or supervisor experience is a plus.Why Work Here?This is a smaller, team-oriented work environment where everyone is willing to help and pitch in. The company offers a $1/hr raise if you go direct.Work EnvironmentThe team environment is very friendly. The work schedule is 6am-4:30pm Monday to Thursday, and 6am-2:30pm on Fridays. There are occasionally a Saturday shift each month (either 5am-11am or 7am-1pm depending on lead coverage) which you can choose. Compensation ranges from $18-25/hr, possibly more depending on experience.
