Student Accountability Coordinator, Office of Student Accountability - University of Iowa : Job Details

As a Student Accountability Coordinator in the Office of Student Accountability, this position assists in administering the Code of Student Life and the Accountability Procedure by interviewing students, determining responsibility, and, if appropriate, imposing the appropriate sanctions. This position may also investigate student organization misconduct allegations and will also use restorative practices in their work with individual students and student organizations. Specific Job Duties & Tasks: Investigate complaints of violations of university policies by students and student organizations. Determine responsibility following investigations and impose appropriate sanctions. Respond to inquiries from staff, faculty, and parents / guardians about the Code of Student Life and Accountability Procedure Assist in preparing the content of reports, websites, and presentations for current and prospective students and families, student organizations, faculty, and staff.
