Summary: The Student Assistant will provide administrative support to the department. In addition to performing miscellaneous clerical duties, the Student Assistant will also be required to answer phones and greet visitors to the office, taking detailed messages for staff follow-up as necessary. S/he will also be required to assist with various department projects as assigned.

Responsibilities include but are not limited to:

* Mandatory participation in special events (Open House, PaceBound, etc.) both in-person and virtually

* Calling prospective students to invite them to events and aid in their admission process

* Providing administrative support to the Enrollment Events and the Office of Undergraduate Admissions

Work shifts are in two or four hour increments during 9-5, Monday - Friday and Saturday 9-1. Exact schedule to be determined with supervisor; no more than 20 hours per week when school is in session and no more than 35 hours per week during breaks.

Hours will increase or decrease depending on the amount of events in the month or semester.
