Job Summary
The Student Grizzly Personal Trainer at Georgia Gwinnett College is dedicated to providing personalized exercise programs designed to help clients achieve their fitness goals and create a fulfilling fitness journey. As a Grizzly Personal Trainer, you will play a vital role in supporting the wellness and fitness initiatives on campus.

Responsibilities
* Establishing Strong Client Relationships: Develop rapport with clients to understand their fitness aspirations, preferences, and any limitations they may have.
* Assessing Fitness Levels: Conduct thorough evaluations to determine each client's baseline fitness level, including strength, endurance, flexibility, and cardiovascular health.
* Designing Customized Exercise Programs: Utilize your expertise to create safe, effective, and personalized exercise programs tailored to each client's individual needs and goals.
* Conducting Fitness Assessments: Administer various fitness assessments, such as body composition measurements, flexibility tests, and cardiovascular evaluations, to track clients' progress and adjust their programs accordingly.
* Providing Instruction and Guidance: Offer clear and concise instructions on proper exercise techniques, equipment usage, and workout routines to ensure clients perform exercises safely and effectively.
* Monitoring Progress: Regularly monitor clients' progress, provide ongoing feedback, and make necessary adjustments to their programs to maximize results and keep them motivated.
* Collaborating with Campus Wellness Programs: Collaborate with other campus wellness programs and resources to promote a holistic approach to health and well-being among students, faculty, and staff.
Required Qualifications
* Must be enrolled in a minimum of 6 credit hours at Georgia Gwinnett College.
* Must be in good academic standing and maintain good academic standing for the duration of employment.
* Must be in good conduct standing with the Office of Student Integrity and maintain good conduct for the duration of employment.
* Students certified through the Wellness and Recreation Department must work at least one full semester after obtaining certification.
Preferred Qualifications
* CPR/AED certified or Certified from a nationally recognized organization.
* If not certified, students must obtain certification within the first three months of employment.
