Student Employment - Viking Mascot - Saint Johns River State College : Job Details

STUDENT EMPLOYMENT REQUIRMENT, MUST HAVE FAFSA ON FILE.

The College is seeking a dependable student with a dynamic personality. This student should be interested in representing the College as the mascot, Viktor the Viking. The role of the Viking mascot is to entertain and engage students, employees and the public during events/appearances. Hours will vary each month, depending on scheduled events throughout the College's service district of Clay, Putnam and St. Johns counties. Events include parades, community events, graduation, etc. It is a physically demanding role Height requirements for costume ranges between 5'7 - 6'2' Size requirement for costume - cannot fit XL or larger Eyeglasses cannot be worn with costume This position is available to SJR State students who are eligible for student employment in the current semester. High school diploma or equivalent required. Applicant must pass verification of employment, reference screening and background check. This position is NOT eligible for Veteran's Preference.
