Job Description The Ithaca College ID Office is seeking detail-oriented, friendly students to join our team! In this role, you will assist with creating student and Faculty/Staff ID cards, troubleshooting ID card issues across multiple software programs, and providing excellent customer service to the Ithaca College community.
ID Office Assistant Duties/Responsibilities: - Create ID cards for fellow students and Faculty/Staff
- Replace Lost ID cards for fellow students and Faculty/Staff
- Troubleshoot ID card issues for fellow students and Faculty/Staff across multiple software programs
- Support the day-to-day activities of the office as they arise
- Print/distribute ID cards to incoming class each semester
- Provide excellent customer service to campus community
Qualifications: - Be able to provide excellent customer service
- Excellent communication skills in person and by phone
- Experience with computer software
- Be able to learn new proprietary software quickly
- Experience with Declining Balance systems desirable
- Troubleshooting skills to be able to determine account issues
- Must be able to work prior to when students arrive on campus. Before orientation in the Fall and weekend arrival in the Spring. Summer availability is a plus, but not required
Anticipated Work Schedule: Students shifts will be assigned around class schedule, and hours may vary from 4-10 hours per week depending on availability. Shifts are determined from class schedule prior to fall and spring semesters and adjusted during final exam periods. Availability during semester breaks and summer is a plus.
Pay Rate: $15.50
