Position Description:The University of Louisville's Admissions Office is seeking a Student Orientation Coordinator V who will report to the Associate Director of Admissions. The candidate in this role helps to plan and implement the programming for first year orientation, family orientation, transfer orientation, and extended orientation. They are primarily responsible for the logistical arrangements associated with these programs including room reservations and communication and coordination with campus and external partners. The person in this role will create and maintain any virtual orientation components. They will create and manage orientation related communications in Slate, ensuring clear and accurate information is communicated to students and family members with timeliness.The candidate also participates in freshman admissions responsibilities such as counselor on call and campus visit presentation and assists at major programs and spring admitted student events. Summer programs require longs days and evening work.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities - Secure room reservations for all orientation programs, including freshman, family and transfer orientation.
- Coordinate logistical aspects of each orientation program and communicate with presenters and other campus partners who participate in any capacity of orientation programming.
- Coordinate with partners to collect content for and create virtual orientation modules.
- Coordinate all logistical aspects of Cards Camp (extended orientation) including securing event sites, room reservations, and coordination with on-campus partners.
- Create and maintain orientation related communications, including event reminders and post event communications.
- Create and facilitate assessments and generate assessment reports of all orientation programs.
- Coordinate publication of the Freshman Orientation Guide, including communication with campus partners to elicit departmental content submissions and creation of internal content.
- Serve as counselor on call for the Office of Admissions as scheduled.
- Present at daily Campus Visit Presentations as scheduled.
- Assist at large admissions events.

Target Compensation Maximum:$31.38
Target Compensation Minimum:$20.92
