Student Services and Admissions Student Assistants provide support to the Student Services Department, Admissions, and other administrative units by serving at the Bennett Hall Information Desk, Student Services Suite, Admissions Department, and other areas of campus. Duties may include the following:1. Learning and understanding campus details including units, employees, and processes in order to assist all members of the campus community.2. Learning and understanding the Ohio University admission process and assist prospective students through that process.3. Greeting and directing campus visitors to the appropriate campus units.4. Leading campus tours.5. Answering and directing phone calls and resolving issues when possible.6. Processing admissions paperwork accurately.7. Processing packages accurately.8. Communicating with a variety of individuals and groups via speech, email, and text.9. Assisting with campus activities and events as needed.10. Performing administrative tasks such as filing, organizing, and data processing.11. Supporting campus projects as needed.12.
