Position Type: Student Support Services/ParaprofessionalDate Posted: 8/8/2024Location: Elms ElementaryClosing Date: 12/27/2024District: Swartz Creek Community School District - websiteNON-UNION POSITIONS through EDUStaff Position: Student Support Professional at Elms Road Elementary Hours/Shift: 29.75 hrs/week Qualifications: Must have a degree OR 60 credit hours from an accredited college or university OR have taken or will take and pass the ETS Parapro test before being hired. Job Functions: The SSP will be the primary support for students in grades 3-5 setting during the intervention block periods each day. While teachers will be working on high-need interventions during this time, the SSP will be working with students on additional enrichment and academic support opportunities. Additionally, the SSP will assist teachers and school staff with the implementation of behavior intervention plans.
