Please note this position is for currently enrolled students and is located at Smithson Valley High School.Job DescriptionThe campus Math Center is a space for collaborative work between math students and tutors. The Math Center Student Tutor will provide tutoring support to students needing assistance in math. At a minimum, tutors must have completed, or be currently enrolled in, Pre-AP Algebra II. Responsibilities

Work with students to provide support in strengthening math concepts and skills.

Attend a tutor training before or after school.

Become familiar with the mission and purpose of the Math Center.

Keep scheduled tutoring commitments.

Communicate with the campus Math Center Facilitator regarding Math Center concerns.

Requirements

Math teacher recommendation (please include a Math teacher in the reference section)
