Student Worker - Crimson Cupboard & Re-Store - Hastings College : Job Details

This position would work 3-5 hours per week in Crimson Cupboard and Re-store. Although hours are flexible, they do need to be consistent every week (For example, student can chose when they work as long as it is same time slot(s) each week). Crimson Cupboard is a food pantry for all students on campus. For Crimson Cupboard, students will be reviewing online requests, making shopping lists, preparing food bags as requested, and delivering bags. Re-Store provides students with items they may need in their everyday lives, such as school supplies, toiletries, and clothes for interviewing. For Re-Store, students will keep inventory, assist in collecting and distributing items, and assist with taking overflow items to Goodwill. Re-Store may not be a task performed every week, but it will be busier at the beginning of each block or season (for example, we'll have a winter jacket giveaway). For this position, the student must be detail-oriented and must attend monthly meetings with the student worker for Food4Thought to organize shopping lists and distributions.
