Description

1. Prepare and serve high-quality coffee beverages, including espresso, cappuccinos, lattes, and drip coffee.

2. Greet and assist customers with their orders, providing recommendations when necessary.

3. Operate coffee machines and equipment safely and efficiently.

4. Maintain cleanliness and hygiene standards in the coffee shop, including cleaning countertops, machines, and utensils.

5. Handle cash transactions accurately and provide excellent customer service.

6. Restock coffee beans, pastries, and other supplies as needed.

7. Follow all health and safety guidelines to ensure a safe environment for staff and customers.

8. Maintain knowledge of coffee products, brewing methods, and promotions.

9. Assist with merchandise transactions, including processing sales and providing information about products.

10. Keep the store clean and organized, including restocking shelves and arranging merchandise displays.

11. Answer customer inquiries and provide information about both coffee and merchandise.

12. Assist with inventory management, including receiving and tagging new merchandise.

13. Uphold the university's brand image and values in all interactions.

14. Collaborate with team members to ensure a smooth shopping and coffee service experience.

Requirements

* Must be a current student at Greenville University.

* Previous experience as a barista, in retail, or in customer service is a plus.

* Knowledge of coffee brewing techniques and equipment is desirable.

* Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.

* Ability to work in a fast-paced environment.

* Friendly and positive attitude.

* Willingness to learn and adapt.
