JOB SUMMARY: We are seeking a highly motivated and detail-oriented student worker with a background in Photography or Printmaking to support the administrative and technical operations of the department. The ideal candidate is comfortable working independently on various tasks that involve both creative and analytical skills. • Organize and prioritize multiple tasks with minimal supervision.
• Communicate effectively with faculty, and students, maintaining a professional and courteous demeanor at all times.
• Collaborate with department staff on various administrative tasks as needed.
• Clean and organize studio spaces, ensuring they are tidy and safe for use.
• Maintain and clean equipment such as easels, brushes, printing presses, and other studio tools.
• Provide technical assistance to students using studio equipment.

REQUIREMENTS:

• Currently pursuing a BFA at Pratt Munson
• Experience with the technical workings of Photography or Printmaking equipment and processes.
• Strong organizational and time management skills, with the ability to prioritize tasks effectively.
• Ability to work independently and follow through on assignments with minimal guidance.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills, along with professional interpersonal skills.
• Detail-oriented, particularly when organizing materials, or preparing for classes.
• Able to lift and move heavy equipment or materials, stand for extended periods, and handle potentially hazardous materials (with proper training).
