Studio Assistant/Newscast Director - News-Press and Gazette Company : Job Details

The Networks of Mid-Missouri is seeking part-time Studio Assistants with interest in Newscast Directing to help in the production of our morning and evening newscasts.Job Description:Responsibilities include the direction and technical direction of newscasts, pre-production, graphic production, robotic camera, audio board, video editing software and teleprompter operation, and other duties as assigned.Qualifications:Applicants must have knowledge of newscast production techniques, strong management skills and the ability to multi-task while leading the behind-the-scenes crew of live newscasts. Experience with Adobe Photoshop and Chyron graphic products is helpful. Basic media production skills and/or related coursework in television/radio are also helpful.
