The Studio Managers main focus is to ensure the smooth running of the studio including IT, health & safety, office maintenance, reception (managing the Receptionist) and general housekeeping. The Studio Manager reports directly to the COO on a weekly basis.
Responsibilities
- Managing the Studio IT (including support, maintenance and liaising with external IT company)
- Setting up new starters as required and closing out leavers as required
- Overseeing the studio health and safety
- Working with the Financial Controller to manage the office budget throughout the year
- Overseeing the general studio maintenance – walls, furniture, bathrooms etc.
- Managing the receptionist and their daily workload
- Liaising with the Office Manager in London to ensure the two studios are aligned
- Joining the weekly management meeting to update the team
- Assisting with any ad hoc duties as requested
Skills and Experience
- Previous experience working in an administrative role within a creative setting
- Experience performing a variety of office functions with a proactive attitude
- Interest in joining a close-knit team
- High level of attention to detail
This is a mostly in-office position with flexibility
