Substance Abuse Nurse Practitioner (FNP, AGNP, or PMHNP) - Atlas Search : Job Details

A large detox facility is seeking a dedicated and experienced Nurse Practitioner to join their team. The Nurse Practitioner specializes in the assessment, diagnosis, and treatment of individuals struggling with addiction and substance use disorders.*Responsibilities*:* Conduct thorough evaluations to identify substance use issues and any co-occurring mental health disorders.* Develop personalized treatment plans that may include medication-assisted treatment, counseling, and lifestyle changes.* Prescribe medications to help manage withdrawal symptoms, cravings, and co-occurring conditions.* Provide individual or group therapy and educational resources to help patients understand their conditions and develop coping strategies.* Work with a multidisciplinary team, including physicians, psychologists, and social workers, to ensure comprehensive care.* Help patients navigate healthcare systems, access community resources, and support recovery efforts.*Requirements:** Master's degree in Nursing (MSN) required.* FNP, AGNP, or PMHNP license in New York.* Substance abuse experience required.---_Please note- The annual base salary range is $135k to $145k. Actual compensation offered to the successful candidate may vary from posted hiring range based upon geographic location, work experience, education, and/or skill level, among other things.
