Substation Engineer - Senior Level - Stantec : Job Details

Stantec is looking to fill the role of a mid-level Substation Engineer. Reporting to the Substation Manager, this position offers you the opportunity to work in a project team environment with other engineers and designers involved in the detailed electrical design and project management of high voltage substation projects. The successful candidate should have experience in the area of air-insulated substation (AIS) engineering and design (gas-insulated substation (GIS) experience is a plus) from the 13 k. V to 500 k. V levels, with an understanding of the substation design process, substation materials and equipment and related electrical design studies such as electrical clearance, grounding, lightning, voltage drop, and rigid bus design.
