We would welcome considering your application!QualificationsOur Ideal Candidate:*High school diploma or equivalency.*Holds (or willing to be trained at District expense) a Class B Commercial Driver's License (CDL)*Must be able to make sound and immediate decisions at any given time based on traffic and road conditions and bus operations;*Pick up/deliver passengers safely per daily schedule and dispatch ride assignments which could vary;*Operate bus in safe manner and follow driver policies/procedures manual;*Understand and follow Wisconsin DOT, District, Agency, and Program laws/requirements/guidelines;*Immediately inform supervisor of identified or suspected mechanical problems;*Complete pre and post trip bus inspections/reports during scheduled hours;*Inform passengers of transportation program policy, procedures, and schedule; *Provide positive public relations by maintaining a clean bus and maintaining an appropriate appearance;*Treat and assist passengers/families in a courteous, positive, friendly and professional manner and confront situations tactfully; *Keep an updated CDL with current DOT physical card and maintain a safe driving record;*Demonstrates and supports a culture of diversity, equity and inclusion.*Other duties as may be assigned.
