DEFINITIONUnder general supervision, perform a variety of receptionist, clerical and data entry work and operate the main campus phone contact. DISTINGUISHING CHARACTERISTICSAn incumbent in this position will perform a variety of responsible, clerical work in support of the college's administrators and confidential employees. The incumbent will be the primary point of contact for telephone inquiries and visitors. Incumbents in this position support student learning outcomes and institutional effectiveness by serving as the first point of contact for the public and providing support for the administrator and confidential employees. Essential Functions & QualificationsAs a substitute until the permanent position is filled, the job duties may be a subset of the below essential functions.ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS
- Answer the main phone line, direct calls and visitors to appropriate personnel
- Greet office and building visitors with courtesy and tact;
- Perform complex office support work for the administrators and confidential employees;
- Maintain directory of college employees;
- Provide information about general college services;
- Schedule interviews, meetings, and workshops;
- Operate standard office equipment;
- Utilize the District's integrated software in performing the required duties of this position;
- Perform other related duties as required.
QUALIFICATIONSEducation:Required
- Graduation from high school;

- Current technologies, personal computer, and associated office software such as word processing, spreadsheet, presentation, and/or database software;

- District policies and procedures.

- Organize information, workload, and establish priorities to complete assigned work with general supervision and within established timelines;
