Substitute Cook - Oakville School District : Job Details

Summary: We are seeking a Substitute Cook to join our team at Oakville School District. The successful candidate will be responsible for preparing and cooking meals on an as-needed basis. This is a substitute position, which means that the successful candidate will be called upon to fill in for our regular staff when they are unavailable. Responsibilities: - Prepare and cook meals according to established recipes and menus - Ensure that meals are prepared in a timely and efficient manner - Ensure that all food is prepared and stored in compliance with food safety regulations - Maintain a clean and organized kitchen environment Requirements: - High school diploma or equivalent - Previous experience preferred as a Cook or in a similar food service role - Knowledge of food safety regulations and best practices - Ability to follow recipes and menus accurately - Strong organizational skills and attention to detail - Ability to work independently and as part of a team - Flexibility to work on short notice as a substitute
