SUBSTITUTE COPY CENTER OPERATOR II - BUSINESS OFFICE
TERMS OF EMPLOYMENT
Location: Business Office
Hours: 8.0 hrs/day; 191 days/year
Pay: $22.85
Supervisor: Technology Manager
Closing Date: 12.31.2024
QUALIFICATIONS:
1. High school diploma or equivalent.
2. Successfully pass the following assessments:
a. Applied Math
b. Word
3. Proven record of working cooperatively on a team
4. Effective written and verbal communicator
5. Experience in a high volume print shop with a minimum of 500,000 impressions per month preferred.
6. Experience operating a Fiery Central system (or comparable) that supports a minimum of four copiers/automated printers preferred.
7. Competency with computers and Office 2010 software (Word, Outlook, Publisher)
8. Competency with Copy Center-specific software (Digital Storefront, InDesign) within 20 workdays.
9. Must possess aptitude with various machines and demonstrate competency with equipment used in a Copy Center/Mail Center within 20 workdays.
10. Working knowledge of classroom/office procedures and the need for various types of copying, duplicating, and reproduction center operations.
11. Experience using hand tools and aptitude assembling technology related equipment.
12. Proven record of punctuality, dependability and consistent attendance. Must provide record of attendance from previous employer.
13. Ability to work effectively with people.
14. Ability to work under pressure and function within short time lines.
15. A valid Washington State driver's license.
ESSENTIAL JOB FUNCTIONS:
1. Duplicates documents, papers, business cards and other materials that are submitted by various users within and outside of the district.
2. Performs other related operations such as sorting and binding as may be required by users.
3. Assists users in determining users' duplicating and reproduction needs and making effective use of the services available.
4. Maintains the copy center in a clean and orderly manner.
5. Orders printing supplies.
6. Assures that assembly and distribution of orders are handled properly.
7. Accurately processes U.S. Mail
8. Maintains a high level quality in printing and print center production including minor repairs to printing equipment.
9. Multi-task, meet strict deadlines with accuracy and work under considerable pressure.
10. Assist with the assembly, and installation of end-user technology devices including but not limited to mounting bracket assembly, cable management, device removal.
11. Perform other such related duties as may be assigned.
WORKING CONDITIONS / PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS
1. Must be able to lift 50 pounds frequently. (Lifting test required)
2. Must be able to stand for sustained periods of time.
3. Must be able to perform repetitive motions such as twisting, grasping, reaching, stooping, kneeling, walking, grasping, and pulling.
EMPLOYMENT REQUIREMENTS
1. Criminal history clearance through Washington State Patrol and FBI. Fingerprinting cost is the responsibility of the employee.
2. Complete required Safe Schools trainings
3. Obtain and maintain current CPR/First Aid certification.
4. Obtain and maintain CPI certification.
5. Within the first year of employment, successfully complete the Washington State Fundamental Course of Study for Paraeducators provided by the District, as defined in RCW 28A.413.070, and continue to meet future requirements as mandated by the State.
