Must have a high school diploma or equivalent.2. Must be able to pass the district math skills test.3. Must have general knowledge of store keeping and warehousing practices. Experience in store keeping and/or warehousing preferred. There will be an order-pulling test.4. Must be able to demonstrate physical ability to safely move 75-pound objects.5. Must have a valid Washington State driver's license and provide a driving record abstract from the state.6. Experience operating a fork lift or other similar equipment preferred.7. Experience as a delivery person preferred.ESSENTIAL JOB FUNCTIONS (to include but not limited to):1. Make regular deliveries from the warehouse and central kitchen of materials/meals required by district schools and support operations.2. Make interschool deliveries of mail, print center orders, equipment, and supplies.3. Make regular bank and county runs as needed.4. Make recommendations concerning the most effective routing to complete delivery runs.5. Inspect delivery vehicles and report vehicle maintenance needs to supervisor.6. Deliver items such as supplies, food, equipment, and furniture to district buildings.7. Receive supplies and equipment, check receipts and packing slips with purchase orders to ensure correct quantities and items have been supplied, check quantities on the computer, and document any discrepancies through e-mail.8. Inspect for damaged items on all incoming shipments, notify Purchasing of items that are damaged.9. Shelve, rotate, place stock received in proper storage area, and maintain necessary records.10. Assist in maintaining perpetual inventories and physical inventory of stock on hand.11. Operate fork lift using proper procedures to protect stock and equipment.12. Keep shelves and merchandise clean, using good housekeeping methods.13. Mark incoming shipments with correct stock numbers.14. Work with people in a cordial, professional manner.15.
