These positions will be located at various school sites and will be on an as-needed substitute basis. For a description of the classification, please review the job description.The selection process tentatively consists of the District application review, and interviews. The Human Resources Department will contact all applicants once the selection process has been finalized. MINIMUM REQUIREMENTS Knowledge and Abilities: •Basic school safety rules. •Basic understanding of child growth, development, and attitudes. •Basic principles of first aid. •Safe and sanitary procedures and practices relating to nutrition services •Supervise children and maintain order. •Maintain acceptable standards of behavior among the students. •Work cooperatively with those contacted in the course of work. •Understand and carry out oral and written instructions. •Be flexible to changing work patterns and schedules. •Administer first aid. EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE Individuals with the knowledge and abilities listed above are considered eligible based on the necessary experience and education. High school diploma or equivalency required. REQUIRED LICENSES AND/OR CERTIFICATES Employees must possess and maintain current first aid and CPR certification.
