Primary Responsibilities & Duties:
  • Demonstrate leadership within schools and the classroom
  • Provide instruction while professionally managing the classroom environment in the absence of the full-time classroom teacher
  • Maintain professionalism with students, school administration, teachers, staff and parents.
  • Communicate with school administration and leadership on all relevant matters
  • Create and maintain a stable classroom environment
  • Provide classroom structures, routines, and expectations
  • Take all responsible precautions to provide for health and safety of the students
  • Establish and maintain open lines of communication with partner school representatives.
  • Report any serious accident/illness and comply with mandated policies regarding child welfare.
Minimum Job Requirements:
  • Associates Degree or higher, any major acceptable
  • Excellent interpersonal skills, both written and verbal
  • Capable of building a strong rapport with students and staff
  • Professional and reliable
  • PA State Required Clearances (required prior to starting position)
  • Comfortable operating in a fast paced environment
