• Substitute Teachers

Requirements / Qualifications Certified Educators:

• Must hold a valid Pennsylvania educator certificate or out of state certificate.
• Must obtain security clearances and have good moral character.

College Students:

• Must be currently enrolled in a Pennsylvania-approved college or university teacher preparation program.
• Must have completed a minimum of 60 credits.
• Must obtain security clearances and have good moral character.

Community Members:

• Must have a Bachelor's degree in any area.
• Must participate in a PMSD-sponsored 2-day training (available throughout the year).
• Must obtain security clearances and have good moral character.
