SUE Technician - Synerfac : Job Details

Summary We are seeking both entry-level and experienced Subsurface Utility Engineering (SUE) Technicians to support our growing team. The ideal candidates will assist in the identification, mapping, and documentation of underground utilities for various civil engineering projects. Job Responsibilities - Conduct field investigations to locate and map existing underground utilities using various techniques (e.g., ground-penetrating radar, vacuum excavation) - Prepare accurate documentation and reports of subsurface utility conditions - Assist in maintaining and updating utility databases and GIS mapping systems - Ensure compliance with safety standards and regulations during field operations - Assist with field investigations by using electromagnetic and geophysical equipment to detect and map subsurface utilities Job Requirements Job Requirements - High school diploma or equivalent - 1 to 5 years of experience as an SUE Tech or related - Basic understanding of utility systems and mapping techniques - Strong attention to detail and ability to work in a team environment - Willingness to learn and adapt to new technologies and methodologies - Ability to work outdoors for long periods of time
