Sugarloaf Sports and Fitness Center Front Desk Attendant - Sugarloaf : Job Details

Overview:

The Sugarloaf Sports and Fitness Center is now hiring for the winter season. We are currently looking for full time winter season opening shift front desk attendants that enjoy working in a customer service position. We also have some part time winter season closing shifts open at this time.

The Sports and Fitness Center offers our guests a fitness center, hots tubs, and a pool as well as a cafe environment. Our attendants make people feel welcome with a smile, eye contact, introduction and friendly greeting. Front desk attendants are team players, look the part, and take pride in who they are and what they do.

Opening shifts typically start at 6am. We have both full-time and part-time openings for this seasonal position. If you enjoy working with guests in a fitness environment, please apply today!

Responsibilities include:

• checking in guests
• distributing locker keys and towels
• selling day passes and memberships
• booking appointments for racquetball and massages
• selling merchandise, gift cards and gift certificates
• preparing and serving food and alcohol along with the policing of alcohol consumption in caf location
• answering phones
• collecting various forms of payment
• folding and stocking towels
• maintaining hot tubs
• mopping floors, emptying towel bins, and shoveling walkways

The ideal candidate for this role will be an accommodating and cooperative team player with previous guest service experience. This position requires flexible availability to meet business level demands. Work shifts could include days, nights, holidays, and weekends.
