Indeed applicants: Please visit to applyThe Center for Courageous Kids (CCK) is seeking to hire Camp Healthcare Staff for our summer 2025 camp season. Healthcare Staff are a vital part of CCK's summer medical team and help to ensure that our campers enjoy a medically safe camp experience. Interested applicants must be available to live on site from mid-May until late July. In addition to salary, on-site housing and meals will be provided. Qualified applicants must be currently licensed as a Registered Nurse or Nurse PractitionerThe mission of CCK is to instill inspiration and empowerment, while enhancing the lives of children with serious illnesses. CCK is a world-class medical camp which began serving children and their families in February 2008. Since that time, our year-round camp programming has served over 40,000 campers from 46 states and 13 countries. CCK is designed exclusively for the use of an underserved medically fragile population. We serve children who would not be able to attend other camps due to their medical needs and financial constraints. Camp provides respite and support for these campers and their families while they experience activities such as horseback riding, boating, fishing, rock climbing, and bowling with no limitations or barriers.   • RN or APRN
  • Current and unencumbered license in Kentucky or compact state
  • May hold a provisional RN license
  • Must have professional adaptability in learning and adhering to CCK's policies, procedures and medical organization and protocol
  • Considerable knowledge of nursing principles and practices
  • Must have the ability, desire and expertise to work with children
  • Must have excellent communication skills, both oral and written
  • Must be flexible and able to prioritize and manage multiple tasks
  • Proficiency in electronic medical records
  • Excellent organizational, time management, and analytical skills
  • High personal integrity and sound personal and professional ethics
  • Ability to work as part of a multi-disciplinary team
