Job Description:Duties/Tasks:- Support and assist with information systems and technology related functions
- Maintain integrity of the systems by upholding all NAC security measures
- Provide technical assistance to all users of information systems
- Provide computer support to include: installation of application software; hardware and software assistance to users; and set up PC hardware and software
- Perform job duties in accordance with MSHA law and regulations, established safety procedures, and state and federal environmental regulations
- Other duties as assigned
Knowledge, Skills and Abilities:- Customer service oriented with a strong work ethic, effective communication skills and a creative and innovative attitude
- Ability to work efficiently in a team environment, as well as individually with minimal supervision
- Thorough understanding of computer systems and Microsoft operating systems and applications
- Protect the organization's value by keeping information confidential
- Ability to take direction in a fast-paced environment
Educational Requirements:Enrolled in computer science, information technology, or related program and in good academic standing.
