Assists with general merchandising and inventory tasks related to Gift Shop operations. Supports the planning, receiving, preparation and display of merchandise. Uses excellent customer service skills in all interactions.Responsibilities:1. Handles all cash and credit transactions using POS (Point of Sale) register. Manages daily receipts and generates reports.2. Keeps work area clean and orderly. Displays retail items neatly. Dusts shelves or cleans displays as needed.3. Checks all incoming merchandise against invoice at time of delivery.4. Assists in taking inventory and checking stock levels of certain supplies, noting quantities needed. Stocks or restocks supplies and retail items.5.
