The Position – Superintendent
We are seeking a Superintendent with 10+ years of experience to lead projects onsite in Brevard County. The ideal candidate will possess a journeyman's or master license and have experience in the healthcare industry. This includes healthcare construction, electrical expertise, remodel and renovation experience in hospitals and other healthcare facilities. Certified Healthcare Constructor is a plus. As the Superintendent, you will coordinate with general contractors and owners, as well as communicate changes to the project manager. Previous experience of completing weekend turnaround projects, delivering facility improvements while minimizing shutdowns (less than 2 hours) and ensuring maximum uptime for the facility. Familiarity with temporary power (generators) during shutdowns is a priority. The ability to perform MRI swaps, CT scan machine adjustments, equipment upgrades and the capability to switch gear to hospitals are abilities you possess.
The day-to-day responsibilities of the Superintendent include:
· Material Orders: Estimate time and order materials, maintain records and files and prepare reports as needed pertaining to the project. Supervise the material inventory of necessary supplies and materials needed to complete the project and ensure material accuracy and quality is precise.
· Project Planning: Preparation and laying out the project workload 2 to 3 weeks in advance to deliver a superior experience to the customer. As each step in the process of project is mapped out, identifying any initial suggestions, questions, concerns or clarifications tremendously assists in successful execution of the project.
· Supervisory Leadership Role: Supervise from 5 to 20 employees with a supportive disposition with a positive, team-leading approach. As the Superintendent, you will lead the job site meetings as well as orientate any new employees on the project.
· Ability to Multitask: From the planning of the materials, to coordinating your employees' work schedules, to accompanying inspectors on walk-throughs, the ability to multi-task will enable all facets of the project to move successfully to thorough completion and satisfaction. The Superintendent will responsibly process needed paperwork such as shutdown requests and other official forms.
· Leverage Eau Gallie Electric Tools to Keep the Team Aligned – Using the existing tools of the Company, provide the appropriate update to team members and monitor project status. Collaborate with internal colleagues to optimize project delivery processes and drive continuous improvement.
· Engage Leadership to Overcome Obstacles – As the project progresses, quickly and efficiently identify areas where additional clarification of requirements or support with vendor responsiveness is needed. Act as the onsite point of contact, providing regular updates on project status and addressing any concerns or issues that arise.

· Strong Communication and Time Management Skills: Excellent verbal and written communication skills to effectively collaborate with team members, general contractors, suppliers, and customers. Able to understand change requests mentioned verbally and document accurately in writing.
· Adaptability: Thrives in a fast-paced and dynamic environment, readily adapting to shifting project priorities and unexpected challenges. Demonstrates flexibility and a proactive approach to learning new skills. Proven ability to provide guidance and support to junior team members to ensure high performance and successful project outcomes.
· Technical Acumen: Tremendous passion for detail and ability to delegate tasks efficiently on site. With your expert-level experience and comprehensive knowledge, lead your team and the project to successful completion while tapping into your previous successes and experiences.
· Certifications: Your OSHA certification is pivotal to the Superintendent role. The Occupational Safety and Health Administration's mission is to ensure that workers have safe and healthy working conditions. OSHA sets standards to protect employees from hazards like falls, cave-ins, exposure to harmful substances, and machinery accidents. Previous I.C.R.A (Infection Control Risk Assessment) is also a positive pertaining to this role.

Pay
· Job Type: Full-time
· Pay: Competitive Salary and comprehensive benefits package
· Bonuses: Pay for performance bonuses paid quarterly (based on the profitability of your jobs); average employee
bonus is $2,000.00 per year

Minimum Requirements
The Superintendent shall meet the following minimum requirements:
· The start date for this position for January 1, 2025 Start Date
· Valid driver's license with own reliable transportation.
· 10+ years of experience managing complex electrical projects, ideally in the Healthcare environment.
· A journeyman or master license holder is ideal, and a certified healthcare constructor would be a plus.
· Strong candidates will have experience with projects ranging from $2 million to $5 million dollars with 5,000 hours or more
· Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, as well as the ability to build strong relationships with clients, subcontractors, project managers and team members.
· Solid understanding of electrical systems, construction processes, and industry best practices.
· Certified Healthcare Constructor is a plus
· Previous OSHA Infection Control Risk Assessment (ICRA) certification is a plus
· Other duties as assigned.
