The MNK Group is hiring on behalf of our client who provides general contracting, construction management and design-build services in Buffalo and Western New York.

Job Title: Construction Superintendent

Job Summary:

The Construction Superintendent is responsible for the day-to-day management and supervision of all field operations on assigned construction projects. This includes overseeing subcontractors, ensuring safety compliance, maintaining quality control, and ensuring projects are completed on time and within budget.

Key Responsibilities:

• Lead and motivate site crews, including subcontractors.
• Ensure adherence to project schedules, budgets, and construction plans.
• Conduct daily safety inspections and enforce safety regulations.
• Maintain quality control throughout all phases of construction.
• Resolve on-site issues and conflicts effectively.
• Manage material deliveries and equipment usage.
• Communicate effectively with project managers, subcontractors, and clients.
• Document project progress and prepare daily reports.
• Ensure compliance with all applicable building codes and regulations.
• Maintain a clean and organized job site.

Qualifications:

• High school diploma or equivalent; Associate's or Bachelor's degree in Construction Management or a related field preferred.
• 5+ years of experience as a Construction Superintendent in commercial construction.
• Proven experience in managing all phases of construction, including site work, concrete, framing, and finishes.
• Strong leadership, communication, and interpersonal skills.
• Excellent organizational and time management skills.
• Proficiency in reading and interpreting blueprints and specifications.
• OSHA 30-Hour Construction Safety Training certification required.
• First Aid/CPR certification preferred.
