Position OverviewWe are seeking a highly skilled Superintendent to oversee construction projects from inception to completion. The Superintendent will coordinate activities, manage labor, and ensure that projects are completed on time, within budget, and to the highest quality standards.Key Responsibilities
- Oversee daily operations on construction sites and ensure compliance with safety regulations
- Coordinate with project managers, subcontractors, and labor teams to ensure efficient workflow
- Develop and maintain equipment sheets to track machinery usage and availability
- Review and manage Bill of Material to ensure all necessary materials are procured on time
- Perform takeoffs and assess material quantities for project planning and budgeting
- Administer subcontractor agreements and ensure adherence to project timelines and quality standards
- Conduct regular site inspections to monitor progress and address any issues that arise
Qualifications
- Proven experience as a Superintendent or in a similar leadership role in the construction industry
- Strong knowledge of construction processes, equipment, and safety regulations
- Familiarity with equipment sheets, Bill of Material, and subcontract administration
- Excellent organizational and coordination skills
- Ability to perform takeoffs accurately and efficiently
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills to effectively manage teams and stakeholders
- Bachelor's degree in construction management or a related field preferred
