General Contractor is seeking Construction Superintendent with expertise in supervising commercial and multifamily construction sites, coordinating trades, supervising subcontractors, ordering building materials, participating in job-site coordination meetings with the architect and owner.

My client is a national commercial contractor that specializes in multifamily and commercial projects throughout the Greater Sacramento Market. Description

  • Directs the activities of subcontractors and client vendors
  • Maintain schedules, complete daily work reports, do weekly two week outlook
  • Interact with on-site and client personnel
  • Coordinate inspections and local authorities
  • Deliver a quality and on time project
  • Experience using scheduling softwares; ie Procore

Profile

  • A well rounded manager, with proven superintendent experience in commercial & multifamily ground up projects and has worked in SAC
  • Applicant must be successful, pay attention to detail and be able to multi-task in a fast paced environment
  • The individual must have excellent client relation skills and will be asked to attend project meetings
  • Understanding of drawings/specifications and strong computer skills are required
  • Possess working knowledge of all project plans, specifications, contracts with Owner, subcontractor scope of works, purchase orders, daily correspondence, shop drawings, submittals, and all other project related documents, and maintain a complete and accurate set of shop drawings and approved stamped set of architects drawings
  • Ability to read and interpret blueprints and understands specifications
  • 5-7 years of experience
