Superintendent of Schools - Consortium for School Networking : Job Details

The Cambridge Central School District Board of Education is seeking a Superintendent of Schools for its approximately 783 pupil UPK-12 district. The Cambridge Central School District is located in southern Washington County, New York, nestled between the Green Mountains of Vermont and the foothills of the Adirondacks. Cambridge is centrally located to Albany, Saratoga, Glens Falls, Bennington, Manchester and Williamstown. Cambridge has a rich history as an agricultural and arts community and is home to many nationally and regionally prominent artists ranging from musical, visual and performing arts.The Board of Education expects to offer an initial salary in the $155,000 - $170,000 range based on the successful candidate's experience and training. An excellent fringe benefit package will also be included. The Board expects the new superintendent to maintain a residency that allows him or her to attend to all the demands of the position, which include being visible at school and community events and activities.
