Superintendent (Roofing) - Outland Recruiting : Job Details

Looking for a skilled Roofing Superintendent to lead and develop a full-time roofing crew. This role is critical in managing daily operations, ensuring safety compliance, and delivering top-quality roofing projects on time and within budget.Key ResponsibilitiesCrew Management:

• Supervise, hire, train, and mentor W-2 roofing crew members.
• Ensure efficient workflow and perform clerical tasks like timecards, schedules, and work authorizations.
• Step in to perform roofing duties when necessary.

Project Oversight:

• Plan and oversee roofing projects to meet timelines and budgets.
• Coordinate with project managers, clients, and vendors for smooth execution.
• Manage materials, tools, and equipment to ensure job readiness.

Quality Assurance & Safety:

• Inspect work for safety compliance and quality standards.
• Conduct safety training and enforce safety protocols.
• Address issues promptly and perform final walkthroughs to resolve defects.

Reporting & Problem-Solving:

• Submit daily reports on labor, materials, and challenges.
• Identify and resolve issues to minimize project delays.

Qualifications

• 3+ years of experience leading commercial roofing crews.
• Knowledge of various roofing systems, including built-up asphalt.
• Ability to read and coordinate blueprints and project specs.
• Must pass pre-employment screening and lift 50 lbs.
• Comfortable working at heights, in varying weather, and climbing ladders.
