We are hired by finance and accounting executives who understand the importance of leveraging their time as well as having a partner that can successfully execute their needs.RESPONSIBILITIES-WORK YOU WILL DO:Add value through complex transactions including IPOs, M&A, Reverse Mergers, etc.Lead engagement teams and own client relationshipsStrengthen client relationships and generate additional engagement opportunities through excellent quality, timely execution, and strategic approach to service deliveryAdd value to clients to successfully prepare and complete auditsAdd value to public and private clients by assisting in any of the following:Detailed revenue analysis and revenue recognitionEquity – stock compensation (FAS 123R, warrant accounting) and EPSDraft or review complex sets of financial statements with disclosuresSEC Reporting, including 10K, 10Q and other filingsIdentification and application of technical accounting guidance to client situationsGlobal accounting activities including IFRS, foreign currency and consolidationsUnderstand technical accounting background, FASB and SEC rules and regulations, client deadlines and deliverables, requests, and preferences to deliver excellent client servicesIdentify, analyze, and conclude on generally accepted accounting principles for the client and consult with director or engagement partnerEnsure work is delivered timely and in accordance with firm standardsSupervise, coach and mentor all levels of staff. Conduct performance reviews and contribute to performance feedback and training. Develop and communicate workplace culture and code of conductInteract with clients / auditor and manage multiple projectsSUPERVISING SENIOR DESIRED SKILLS & EXPERIENCE:GPA of 3.5 or betterRated top 25% of Big Four classBachelor's degree in Accounting or equivalent required2-5 years of prior experience in public accounting requiredCPA preferred or actively pursuing completion of certificationAbility to take responsibility and account for his/her own workHard working, detail oriented and ability to work independentlyAbility to work well in a team atmosphereProfessional and personable demeanorProven solid verbal and written communication skillsPassion for helping clients with a strong interest in technical accountingAptitude for technical accounting research and self-education, desire to learn and be an expertProficient in the use of Microsoft Office Suite with strong Excel skillsTRAVEL:Ability to travel up to 20%THE TEAM:Our team culture is collaborative and encourages team members to take initiative.
