Benefits to you
* We pay 95% to 99% of medical insurance premiums for full-time employees [OR up to 99% of medical insurance premiums for part-time employees], including mental health coverage.
* The hourly equivalent for this position is $33.74 - $52.34. [OR The annual salary for this position is $70,176 - $108,864.]

Position Highlights
The Crook County Circuit Court is hiring a Supervisor 2.
In this role
You will be a key member of the administrative team working directly with the Trial Court Administrator (TCA) to manage all non-judicial functions of the court. Much of your day will be spent supervising staff, monitoring, and managing workloads, ensuring that work is accurate and timely.
You will be responsible for reviewing workflows, implementing (new) business processes and efficiencies, and communicating necessary changes to your staff. Recruitment and onboarding, feedback, verbal and written warnings, position description development, designation of appropriate classifications, investigation and resolution of employee grievances, training, orientation sessions, performance evaluations, and all other issues related to personnel management of court staff are all duties for which you will collaborate with the TCA to resolve and address.
As an administrative team member, you will assist with the development and implementation of statewide and local strategic planning initiatives, short- and long- term goals, objectives, as well as the revision and creation of new policies and procedures when organizationally or legislatively required for work efficiency. You will also attend meetings on behalf of the court to maintain and establish working relationships with the court's business partners, community stakeholders, and other governmental agencies.
You will be a resource to both your staff and to court customers to address the most complex case questions, complaints, or issues. As such, you will maintain local reference training manual and guides, and other needed sources of information. You will also resolve the most complex and sensitive inquires and complaints from litigants, attorneys, governmental agencies, and the public.

Minimum Qualifications

The qualified candidate must have a bachelor's degree in court administration, management, business or public administration, or a closely related field.
OR
Four (4) years of progressively responsible supervisory or staff-support experience. Qualifying OJD experience would be at the equivalent of Court Operations Associate or above.
Note: Four (4) years of recent experience supervising, directly or through lead workers, staff performing a wide variety of clerical or administrative support duties must include most, or all, of the following:
* developing work procedures,
* hiring or recommending hiring,
* training,
* assigning and reviewing work,
* evaluating performance,
* responding to staff concerns, and
* handling disciplinary actions.
OR
Any combination of education and experience equivalent to four (4) years of experience that typically supports the knowledge, skills, and abilities needed for this position.

Working Conditions
* This is a full-time FLSA-exempt position, and the work schedule is typically 8:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m., Monday through Friday. It is not eligible for overtime compensation for hours worked in excess of a 40-hour work week.
* Occasional irregular or after-hours work may be required.
* Occasional local and overnight travel may be required for training and meetings.
* Occasional telephone, video, and in-person contact with angry, hostile, confused, or frustrated people and with people from diverse backgrounds.
* Frequent bending or reaching below knee level or above shoulder with long periods of sitting or standing while accessing various computer programs and applications.
* The following equipment may be used: FTR recording equipment, audio/video equipment, telephone, OJD-assigned computer, copier and other office equipment.
