The Dispatch Supervisor is responsible for overseeing the work of dispatchers and ensuring that all dispatch operations are carried out efficiently and effectively. The ideal candidate will have at least two years of experience in a similar role and will be proficient in the use of office hardware and software. What you'll do as a Dispatch Supervisor Ensure that all dispatch operations are carried out efficiently and effectively Responsible for maintaining all dispatch team KPIs Supervise and lead a team of dispatchers Responsible for performing both new and refresher training for all dispatch team members Create and maintain dispatcher schedules in accordance with company policies Communicate with field workers, customers, and homeowners to provide information necessary to complete field work Provide support with troubleshooting, providing as-builds, directions to a location, and plant fiber information Receive close-out information from the field and input the work information into various databases to fully close out each location Maintain and update various databases Communicate with employees, contractors, vendors, and customers to assist assigned department/project Read, interpret, and input data in support of an assigned department/project Coordinate with PMO to keep training and documentation up to date Additional duties as assigned What you'll need To be 18 years of age or older Authorization to work in the United States for this company Proficient in the use of office hardware and software (PCs, Tablets, Printers, Copiers, Microsoft, Google, etc.) Excellent Customer Service skills and strong English language skills both oral and written Work safely, with or without supervision Read, understand, interpret, input and analyze data with a high degree of accuracy and completeness Excellent manual dexterity Ability to organize workload to determine priority of duties Communicate with Company personnel, customers, and contractors to ensure tasks are completed The ability to effectively function in a high-stress environment Bachelor's degree in a related field or equivalent work experience Two years of related work experience Additional qualifications (if applicable) Must be available to work shifts, including evenings, weekends, and holidays. Physical abilities & exposures Ability to sit for long periods of time, while using repetitive and/or fine hand movements to complete computer-related tasks and/or other office functions.
