Job Description :
As an I&C (Instrumentation & Controls) Supervisor you will provide first line supervision of full time and temporary I&C Maintenance personnel in a safe, productive manner, managing multiple and possibly conflicting priorities, and demonstrates proficiency in managing a multi-disciplined I&C Maintenance group (possibly including union and contractor oversight). This is a Union environment, so they need a leader who has strong communication skills and can relate to the hourly team. You will need to show you can maintain an excellent understanding of the work management process and at the same time you must be able to function as a team leader. You will need to show you have the ability to communicate with all levels of the organization, including representing the I&C Maintenance department at all meetings. You will need to ensure that assigned I&C Maintenance tasks are performed as safely and efficiently as possible, this is the most sensitive, critical area of the plant and if mistakes are made it could result in a plant shut down or outage. They need someone who understands process improvement and have the ability to propose time saving tooling and work methods. It is important that this position will ensure all I&C Maintenance activities are performed within regulatory and procedural guidelines and have the ability to manage I&C Maintenance personnel and resolve employee conflict or concerns. At times this position also interfaces with other sites to maximize resource sharing for I&C Maintenance.Interfaces with regulatory and industry representatives on behalf of station I&C activities. You will also need to show you have the ability to communicate I&C Maintenance technical information, concepts, and ideas verbally and in writing. This position also participates in the shared resources program and serves as a member of the Emergency Response Organization. It is a Monday - Friday day shift role that works 7 am to 4 pm with every other Friday off. There is a rotation every 6-8 weeks where you will be required to work 2nd shift 3 pm to 11 pm for a week. There is also a on call rotation for weekends where you must local and be available to come on site if there is an emergency. During outages, usually in the March/April time frame you will be on a 12-hour shift that will be either days or nights based on seniority.Base of $90 - $105 DOE + targeted yearly bonus that will be around 15%. Sign on bonus up to $7500, great benefits plan including relocation.
