We have an exciting opportunity for a Supervisor in our Intellectual and Developmental Disabilities Program. Regular working hours are Monday through Friday 8:30 a.m.-5:00 p.m., with a minimum of one late evening shift per week. Based on the needs of the clients and the program, additional hours are expected including evening and weekends.
Responsibilities include the following:
· Provide standard and clinical supervision to staff members utilizing a variety of supervisory methodologies.
· Manage and process crisis situations with program staff and clients.
· Maintain electronic medical record training and be able to train new staff and maintain ability to assist staff with questions and concerns.
· Review all treatment records and reports pertaining to the treatment and the rendering of services to clients and provide direction for documentation improvement.
· Follow a professional code of ethics.
· Other duties as assigned.
Qualifications:
· Must have a minimum of a Master's degree in social work, psychology, or counseling.
· Must possess and retain current Master's licensure by the State of Michigan; LMSW, LLP licensure preferred.
· Candidate must have at least one (1) year experience in examining, evaluating and treating children and adolescents with intellectual and developmental disability diagnoses and utilizing relevant treatment modalities.
· Must meet the requirements for Children's Mental Health Professional (CMHP) and Qualified Intellectual Disability Professional (QIDP) within 120 days of hire.
· Experience with electronic medical records highly preferred.
· Additional requirements are good written and verbal communication skills as well as having the ability to be organized, creative, flexible, and provide, non-judgmental, culturally competent, unconditional care.
· Individual must be highly organized and demonstrate competence in providing services to consumers of psychiatric and specialized services.
