JOB SUMMARYAs Supervisor of Inventory and Logistics at Marki Microwave, you will lead Materials and Inventory Management, Shipping/Receiving, and Logistics teams to deliver Marki's broad portfolio of high-quality, cutting-edge RF (Radio Frequency) products. You will establish plans and implement effective processes to manage inventory levels within the factory and ensure a smooth, efficient flow of inbound and outbound materials to meet customer demands. You will support cross-functional teams in continuous improvement practices, including lean techniques to minimize sources of waste, drive down manufacturing costs, and optimize overall efficiency in supply chain operations. This role requires an experienced supervisor who demonstrates high levels of organizational and tactical supervisory ability, can motivate the organization to execute, and constantly encourages excellent performance from all Inventory Control and Logistics teams.ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
  • Supervise Marki Microwave's inventory management and logistics operations to meet company goals and objectives.
  • Oversee a highly talented team. Continually challenge the team to achieve the highest levels of performance.
  • Use all processes and existing systems to deliver products on time and meet customer needs. Use Key Performance Indicators (KPIs) and individual performance goals to constantly measure team progress.
  • Proactively communicate company updates, new directives, policies, and procedures; meet with team members regularly to explain changes, answer questions, and maintain morale.
  • Evaluate and drive initiatives to improve inventory and logistics processes and systems. Suggest, develop, and implement best-in-class solutions and best practice ideas.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams (including quality, engineering, manufacturing, and sales operations) to meet required goals.
  • Oversee talent acquisition, performance management, and talent development for the Materials and Inventory Management, Shipping/Receiving, and Logistics teams.
  • Experience with using an Enterprise Resource Planning (ERP) system and other resources to manage inventory control effectively for multiple Inventory locations and manage shipping /receiving operations, Item master setups, and BOM maintenance.
  • Analyze team resources, dynamics, and constraints to identify risks and take action to mitigate.
  • Develop and facilitate training matrixes, material, and records to upskill manufacturing operators and technicians.
  • Timely decision maker, able to prioritize critical tasks that add the highest value. Works well under pressure, manages competing demands, and meets tight deadlines.
  • Highly motivated and results-oriented, capable of driving progress, solving problems, and achieving objectives in a demanding environment.
  • Promote an ethics-based business culture in the organization.
REQUIREMENTS
  • A B.S. degree in supply chain, logistics, or business is preferred, and/or 5-8+ years of related experience in a fast-paced electronics manufacturing environment.
  • 3-5 years in managing warehouse personnel.
  • Experience in inventory and logistics functions in an electronics production environment.
  • Strong knowledge of material management, logistics, and export compliance software and technology systems such as ScanForce, Starship, MES, and ERP systems preferred. Experience with SAGE 100 a plus.

  • Experience with both international and domestic shipping requirements.
