Supervisor - ABM : Job Details

The Shuttle Bus Supervisor is responsible for general service compliance of shuttle bus operations for the Tampa International Airport. This includes but is not limited to maintaining the required service intervals, scheduling and assigning shifts, breaks and coordinating equipment assignments. The following is a list of daily and weekly responsibilities that should not be considered all inclusive:

Job Type: Full-Time (40 hours/4-10hr days)

Shift: Thursday/Friday (10am -8pm), Saturday (2pm-12mid) & Sunday (10am-8pm)

Pay rate: $25.46/hr.

Daily Responsibilities:

• Responsible for oversight of the shuttle bus operations to include: timeliness of route, operator compliance, vehicle operation status, manpower availability and customer communications.
• Uses local and company policy to manage the employee population and protect the interest of the client and ABM
• Enforces DOT standards for work hours, licensing and safety matters.
• Creates daily reports on vehicle status, passenger volume, schedule adherence, incidents and accidents.
• Trains new Bus Operators in route operations and monitors behaviors for compliance.
• May be required to drive a bus during emergency operations, shortage of manpower or to support route operations in general.

Weekly Responsibilities:

• Perform weekly ride-along for driver evaluations.
• Create weekly performance reports per shift.
• Manage weekly bus washing operation with on-site vendor.
• Investigate and create responses to complaints.
• Replenish office supplies.
• Other duties as assigned.

Minimum Requirements

• High School Diploma or GED Minimum 2-year Commercial Driver License experience (required)
• Minimum 2-year of leadership experience in a transportation environment (desired) Must be 21 years of age or older Must submit to and pass a DOT examination Must meet all the requirements to receive required airport security badge and customs seal.
