About the role

As a Quality Lead, your dedication to excellence in quality and compliance becomes the backbone of Reckitt's Nutrition Division. Here, you'll be influencing global health outcomes through meticulous attention to our products and processes. Your expertise will not only maintain the highest standards within our supply and distribution chains but also empower our mission to protect, heal, and nurture in the relentless pursuit of a cleaner, healthier world.

Your responsibilities

* Supervise the daily activities of the Microbiology Laboratory

* Support continuous improvement and innovation within the Microbiology laboratory.

* Develop in depth knowledge of instrumentation and methods to become a technical resource for the team.

* Coordinate with team to complete investigations on out of specification results.

* Provide ongoing training to team by diffusing new analytical techniques, procedures and equipment to expand technical capabilities, improve data quality and increase productivity.

* Provide input and feedback for performance of analysts to provide opportunities for growth and development.

* Possess an understanding of CFR part 11 requirements as they relate to the laboratory and computer system validations.

* Support regulatory policies, procedures, and MJN policies to ensure laboratory personnel are in compliance at all times.

* Update and develop procedures, work instructions and technical reports.

* Maintain and monitor laboratory metrics as well as EM metrics to drive laboratory performance.

* Work in cross functional teams for key projects.

* Manage compliance with all HR policies with employees and administer employee relation matters in an effective and timely manner.

The experience we're looking for

* Bachelor's degree required, preferably in a natural science such as Microbiology, Biology or Food Science, etc.

* Minimum of three years of laboratory experience, preferably in a quality control environment.

* Excellent administration and communication skills, both verbal and written.

* Demonstrate strong team building abilities.

* Demonstrate detailed understanding of applicable scientific principles and theory used in the quality control of food products.

* Demonstrate attention to detail. Knowledge of GMP, HACCP, OSHA (including biosafety) and FDA regulations.

* Demonstrate ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously.

* Strong computer skills, MS office, SAP, Optiva or equivalent.

Salary Range

USD $69,000.00 - $103,000.00

Pay Transparency

The base salary range for this role will vary based on experience in job and industry, training and education, skills relevant to the position, and other factors permitted by law. In addition to the base salary, the position is eligible for an annual discretionary bonus, which is subject to change each year.
